YPF Jallandhar team planned to celebrate the New Year in a unique way with an aim to create awareness about the ‘Culture of Peace’ amongst their friends & acquaintances.
Team organized an event at Virsa Vihar, Jallandhar. Lots of their neighbours, acquaintances & friends participated. The hall was decorated with the quotes of learned speakers on Peace. The event started with a play elaborating the thinking of the Youth on peace. Afterwords there were two games First was ‘Pick a chit’, written was a topic on peace to speak for a minute and the second was A Puzzle’: to solve the sign of peace. All the participants enjoyed the different way of conveying the message of peace to everyone.
After this a few animated stories and videos were shown on Peace. At the end all the participants were called upon the stage and a Lamp was lit symbolically conveying that let the New Year spread light of Peace in everyone’s heart and help bring peace on the globe.
The feedback was overwhelming, people said ‘It was an amazing way to celebrate the New Year and we will remember it forever.’ They wished this type of unique events take place again and again. There was a beautiful glowing smile on the faces of the participants. What more is needed to rejoice?
